This is something I just thought up out of the blue. This is my contribution to the Kick Buttowski fandom. If you haven't sen it, it's on Disney XD. Enjoy everyone. And to the person who gets the reference, you have my respect.
It was a normal day in the city of Mellowbrook. Well, as about as normal as having a daredevil stuntman around could be. Kick Buttowski, said daredevil, was off to conquer Dead Man's Drop once again. However, this is not what our story revolves around.
Kendall Perkins was sitting in her room reading some academic book. Every once in a while she would think about her long-time enemy Kick. She was confused about how she felt around him, and adding to that confusion is his involvement with Scarlett Rosetti, a daredevil girl who seems like a perfect match for Kick. Kendall sighed, wiping those thoughts out of her head.
"Pssh, why would I care for a troublemaker like Clarence," she said to herself, using her enemy's given name. God, that annoyed him. Just then, a knock came to her door.
After trekking down to the front of her house, the blond was greeted with an unusual sight.
Jackie Wackerman, otherwise known as Wacky Jackie to most, was Kick's obsessive number one fan, though the obsession began to wane after she got together with Kick's stunt coordinator Gunther. Another benefit was that she became closer to Kendall, though Kendall saw her as a nuisance. She too had heard about Scarlett Rosetti, and needless to say, she was none too pleased. So she decided to go over Kendall's house and talk about it.
Jackie was the first to speak. "I came as quickly as I could."
Kendall had a puzzled look on her face. "Okay.....why?"
"To comfort you of course. Gunther told me about Kick hanging out more frequently with Scarlett, the other daredevil, so I high-tailed it over here to pick up the pieces of your broken heart," Jackie responded. Obviously the brunette knew she would have to explain a few things.
Kendall shook her head and smiled. 'Oh Jacqueline. Always one to jump to conclusions' she thought. "No, really I'm fine," she reassured. But Jackie only glanced with a disbelieving eye.
"You don't have to be strong for me, Kendall. Now let's talk about Scarlett, that man-stealing bitch."
The brunette entered Kendall's abode and Kendall couldn't believe her ears. "What?" she laughed. Kick's former number one fan turned around to glance at her.
"In situations like this, best girlfriends are often catty about the other woman. RAWR!!" she replied, clawing her hands for emphasis.
Kendall just sat down and shook her head. "Really, Jacqueline I'm not upset about Clarence and Scarlett."
"Oh. Then perhaps you don't understand what's going on," Jackie emphasized, moving closer to the blonde. "Kick has aligned himself with a very suitable companion, possibly even more suitable than you."
Kendall nodded her head. "Hmmm. Well good for him," she replied. Then realization hit her. "Hey what do you mean more suitable?!"
"Well, given you do have some desirable characteristics," Jackie began, "But Scarlett is a trained professional, and possibly has more in common with Kick than you, me or Gunther. Whereas you on the other hand are a prissy, but intelligent little teacher's pet who wouldn't survive a full day away from civilization."
Aforementioned teacher's pet got tired of Jackie pointing out her negative attributes. "Yeah, okay, I got it, I got it!"
Kendall sighed and looked down. "It's fine. I told you I'm okay with it. I mean if anything I'm quite pleased that Clarence has found s-someone that makes him so h-happy!" she responded, teary eyed and wailing at the last line. Moments after, the intelligent blonde began full on weeping.
Jackie, feeling sorry for her, went over and hugged her. "Oh, it's ok. It's ok."
"Th-thank you," Kendall wailed. It was at this time where Jackie came up with a great, in her mind, idea.
"Now let's get you suited up to go down Dead Man's Drop," the brunette replied.
"O-okay," Kendall responded, still teary eyed. And from there came the plan to help a girl find out her love for a guy she says she hates.
